HUGHES RANCH RD

The project will entail the construction of approximately 10,600 feet of 4 lane divided concrete curb and gutter street. Utility construction includes approximately 20,000 feet of concrete box culvert, concrete pipe, manholes, inlets, and leads. Other work includes site preparation, earthwork, intersection signalization, signing and pavement markings, sound walls, sidewalks, street light conduit and foundations, storm drain detention, irrigation and planting, and other ancillary work. The project will be administered by the City of Pearland following TxDOT Local Government Project Procedures. Contractor must adhere to all federal requirements in Form FHWA-1273, Buy America, and TxDOT’s DBE and Title IV Program as well as other federal guidelines.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the City of Pearland City Hall Annex at 3523 Liberty Drive, Pearland, Texas 77581 at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018.

All bids should be submitted through the E-Bid system located on the City’s website at: https://pearland.ionwave.net/Login.aspx. All interested Bidders are advised to register as a “supplier” on the City’s E-Bid System at the above website by clicking on “Supplier Registration” and completing a short registration questionnaire. Electronic Bid Documents, including Plans, Technical Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download after registration is approved by City Purchasing office. No plan fees or deposits are required for bid documents obtained through the City’s E-bid System. ORDINANCE NO. 1497-6

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, amending Ordinance No. 1497-5 as it applies to certain times and limits for school zones established for vehicles under the provisions of the Texas Transportation Code upon certain streets and highways, of parts thereof, within the corporate limits of the City of Pearland, as set out in this ordinance; and providing a penalty; and declaring an emergency.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:

Section 2. Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200).
