NOTICE TO BIDDERS
CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS

Sealed Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018 and read aloud into the public record for the following project:

Dixie Farm Road – Fiber Optic Network Connection Plan
City of Pearland, Texas

BID NO.: 1019-02

The project entails a new fiber optic connection between City’s network connection at the intersection of Dixie Farm Road and FM 518 (E Broadway Street) and the Wastewater Treatment Facility along Dixie Farm Road and two traffic controller cabinets along Dixie Farm Road. The fiber optic connection will carry 96-strand single mode fiber from the traffic controller cabinet at the Dixie Farm Road and FM 518 intersection to the treatment plant and a 12-strand single mode fiber to connect the existing traffic signal cabinets at the McGinnis Drive and McDonald Drive intersections along Dixie Farm Road.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the City of Pearland City Hall Annex at 3523 Liberty Drive, Pearland, Texas 77581 at 10:00 a.m. on October 25, 2018.

All bids should be submitted through the E-Bid system located on the City’s website at: https://pearland.ionwave.net/Login.aspx. All interested Bidders are advised to register as a “supplier” on the City’s E-Bid System at the above website by clicking on “Supplier Registration” and completing a short registration questionnaire. Electronic Bid Documents, including Plans, Technical Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download after registration is approved by City Purchasing office. No plan fees or deposits are required for bid documents obtained through the City’s E-bid System. THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Friendswood City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Joint Docketed Public Hearing at Friendswood City Hall, 910 South Friendswood Drive, on the following date and time:

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 05, 2018 – 7:00 PM

to consider the following:

A. Zone classification change request for a 55.159 acre tract of land, located at 3099 W. Parkwood Ave., Friendswood, Galveston County, Texas, to change from Light Industrial (LI) to Light Industrial/Specific Use Permit (LI/SUP) to allow NAICS Use #7139 Other Amusement and Recreation Industries (shooting ranges).
