Council discusses future city facilities

The Manvel City Council met Monday, Nov. 5, at City Hall at 20025 Highway 6.

A workshop was held for council member where they discussed with PGAL representatives the development of city facilities. PGAL is an international design firm specializing in architecture, interiors, engineering, and planning for a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients. The company is based in Houston.

During the regular session of the meeting, council considered a resolution amending Resolution No. 2017-R-14 creating the Events Task Force.

Council members also considered action to approve a subdivision variance request for property located at 8058 Jordan Road for relief from Chapter 62 Subdivisions, Section 62-108, Lots and Section 62-111, Additional Street Requirements.

Council finally approved the City of Manvel Organizational Chart dated Sept. 17. It had previously been tabled on Sept. 17, Oct. 1, 15 and 29.
