Pomona listed in hottest Houston housing

Pomona, the Manvel subdivision at 4714 Croix Parkway, was part of housing news recently.

Pomona was featured in the State Housing News in an article discussing the rising Houston area market. A photo of the Pomona area was used as an example of one of the hottest Houston-area neighborhoods.

According to Manvel officials, the article discussed the HomesUSA.com New Homes Sales Index, which tracks a 12-month rolling average for new homes listed in the Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio markets.

The article reported the following: average new-home prices increased in four major Texas markets in September, with prices edging up 0.7 percent to $357,364 in the Houston area, according to a new report by Dallas-based HomesUSA.com.

In other Manvel news, the Manvel Police Department is seeking to fill an open position in the Communications division. All qualified applicants are asked to complete an employment application and submit to the Police Department.
