Holiday tour follows themes at homes

The 52nd annual Home for the Holidays Christmas Home tour and Holiday Bazaar will be Nov. 17-18.

Five large homes will be on the tour from 1-5 p.m. each day. Tickets are on sale now in Friendswood for the annual event.

Each home will have a different holiday theme that best describes their design interior.

“All Through the House” will be showcased in the home of John and Sharon Lynch in the downtown area.

Cody and Haley Wagoner will open their downtown area home with theme “Home for Christmas.”

“Home Is Where the Heart Is” will be at the home of Russell and Mary Beth Hillenburg in The Park.

“The Christmas House” is located in the Forest and owners Monte and Patsy Moore are the hosts.

James and Stacy Parsons will open their holiday doors on San Miguel with the theme “Christmas Spirit.”

Tickets are on sale now in Friendswood for the annual event for $12 presale and $15 on the days of the event. Tickets are on sale at Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, The Cake Lady, La Casita, Friendswood Frame & Gallery, Lary’s Florist and Design, Marrone Market, Phoenix Cleaners, Rancho Mexican Restaurant, Two Friends Gifts and Wild Birds Unlimited.

Along with the home tour there are several events going on throughout the two days at the Marie Workman Garden Center at 112 W. Spreading Oaks in Friendswood.

A tearoom is offered from noon to 4:30 p.m. each day inside the beautifully decorated Garden Center. All food items are homemade.

Vendors are both inside and outside and will offer the perfect holiday gifts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. From holiday décor to garden items and food for celebrations and gifts, there is something for everyone at the bazaar.

Large raffle items will be offered by Heritage Gardeners and can be viewed inside the Garden Center. A large bake sale will be held both days.
