The mayor, council, city leaders, and residents made a strong showing at the Alvin-Manvel Chamber of Commerce 2019 Annual Awards Banquet and Game Night at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Alvin.

Robina Spruill will serve as a board director. Spruill also serves on the Manvel Economic Development Commission.

City Manager Kyle Jung will serve as an ex-officio board member.

City Attorney Bobby Gervais retired as a board member and was thanked for his service.

City supporter and Facebook follower Cindy Leach was named Ambassador of the Year.

“The city has a great relationship with the chamber and we hope to continue that tradition with our 2019 team. Congratulations to everyone in Manvel and Alvin who were recognized by our community for their service and commitment,” Mayor Debra Davison said.

The chamber event is held annually to celebrate members and the leadership of the chamber.
