Mykawa Lift Stations

The project will entail the abandonment and demolition of three existing lift stations and construction of two new lift stations. Existing sanitary sewer lines along Mykawa Rd will be abandoned and new sanitary sewer gravity lines and force mains will be installed (via open cut and trenchless) along with all associated appurtenances along Hatfield Rd, Orange Street and Mykawa Rd. Various manholes along the routes will also be replaced. The project also includes several bores at various locations but most notable are under the Orange St/Mykawa Rd intersection and the BNSF railroad. The project also includes site preparation and restoration; control of surface and ground water; trench safety; implementation and maintenance of the traffic control plan and stormwater pollution prevention plan.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the City of Pearland City Hall Council Chambers at 3519 Liberty Drive, Pearland, Texas 77581 at 2 p.m. on February 21, 2019.
