The 2019 Pear Run is celebrating 15 years of police support, healthy living and exercise. Put on by the Pearland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (PCPAAA), the run has assisted the Pearland PD by purchasing equipment, K-9 officers, officer memorials and more.

This year, the goal is to raise $50,000 for a new mobile command center for SWAT situations and large public events. This command center will be state-of-the-art in technologies to keep citizens safe and assist with police activities.
