On Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, Michael Louis Guidry, passed away at age 67 at his home in League City, Texas.
Michael was born on August 30, 1951 in Houston, Texas to Charles and Ann (Jones) Guidry. He was a long time resident of Pearland, Texas and graduated from Pearland High School in 1969. He worked as a real estate broker, a machinist and a very skilled carpenter. Michael married Judy (Thompson) Guidry and God graced them with a love that started as friends and grew into a lasting love of 46 years of marriage. They raised two children, Jason and Angela Guidry.
Known to many as Pastor Mike, his passion was the work of the Lord, serving as a Pastor and Evangelist for 39 years. Michael loved playing guitar, writing music and encouraging messages of faith and hope. He was also a successful entrepreneur and distributor with the Limu Company. An avid music lover, he was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lee Guidry, and mother, Ann Jones Guidry, and sisters Debbie Green and Susie Land.
He is survived by his wife Judy Guidry; his children, Jason and Angela Guidry; his sisters, Charlene Hunt, Pat Keebaugh, Tina Howell, Carol Guidry, Mary Guidry; brothers Steven and John Guidry and spouses, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 with a 2:00 p.m. visitation with the family and a 2:30 p.m. Celebration Service at Dominion Church 6400 Calder Dr., Dickinson Tx. 77539.
