Lights out for an Easter Egg hunt in Alvin does not mean it will be over. Instead, it means it will begin.

Alvin Parks and Rec are hosting their Lights Out Easter Egg Hunt April 18 beginning at 8 p.m. in Bob Briscoe Park. The event is free.

Due to limited space, all children planning to attend must register for the event and are asked to put their names in the appropriate age category.

Categories include ages 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, and special needs.

The Easter Bunny will be available for photos after the egg hunt.
