The 23rd annual Earth Day Celebration will take place Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Southdown Park in Pearland. The event is free.

The event is sponsored by the City of Pearland in partnership with Keep Pearland Beautiful.

The annual event is an outreach program created to educate the community about environmental responsibility. Earth Day provides families with the opportunity to participate in family fun educational activities teaching them about recycling, conservation, and environmental citizenship.

This year’s celebration will include performances by Vocal Trash, educational booths, family games, inflatables, food vendors and much more. Free on-site parking is available.

Each booth or activity space is free and will have an environmental theme that fits into KPB’s mission to empower Pearland Citizens to take responsibility for their environment or their vision to make Pearland the cleanest most beautiful city in Texas.

For more information or vendor inquiries, contact the Parks Department at www.pearlandtx.gov.
