The calling for artists has begun for the 10th Annual Friendswood Art in the Park Festival held in Stevenson Park in November. Applications will be accepted until June 30.
Artists who specialize in ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, graphic and printmaking, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and/or wood are all invited to apply for the outdoor art event.
The theme for the event this year is “Celebrating a Decade of Art @ Friendswood in the Park” and plans are underway to make this the biggest event in the 10-year history.
Commercial agents, dealers, or manufacturers are not eligible to enter. All items must be artist derived. No wholesale items are eligible for sale during the festival.
Traditional crafts such as soaps, wax media (candles), oils, and homemade food items are not items juried into the event and will be permitted only at the discretion of the show committee.

Art in the Park will be held Nov. 16-17 to as a distinguished and vibrant celebration of work from across multiple creative industries, including fine art, fashion, music, and performance.
Art in the Park is devoted to showcasing a variety of artworks combined with an exceptional program of events, demonstrations, and performances.
