Hunter’s Night Out is set for Saturday, May 18 at Bass Pro Shop at SH 288 and the Beltway in Pearland.

Hosted by the Manvel-Iowa Colony Lions Club, the annual 130 gun fundraiser will have doors open at 5 p.m.

Activities include gun drawings, barbecue, an auction, and prize games.

Tickets are $30 each or four for $100. Tickets must be purchased in advance and can be paid in cash, check or credit card.

Ticket includes entry into 130 gun drawing, admission, and a meal.

Winners of prizes need not be present to win and may choose alternate Bass Pro Shop merchandise in lieu of a gun.

To see what guns will be in the drawing, go to www.manvellionsclub.org.

Hunters can bring their unused White Tail Deer Tags to enter into the Biggest Loser Gun Drawing.

This annual fundraiser has been successful in funding many charities and worthwhile causes over the years. Through the generosity and support of the community and corporate sponsors the club has been able to realize a long-established dream. The club recently partnered with the City of Iowa Colony and Rise Communities, LLC to begin construction on four baseball fields in the Meridiana subdivision. Construction on the baseball complex is scheduled to begin in the upcoming months.

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: Bass Pro Shop at the gun counter, Matrix Manufacturing at 2625 Miller Ranch Road in Pearland, Manvel Mattress and Furniture at 20350 Hwy. 6 in Manvel, and Area Safe and Lock at 2004 S. Gordon St. in Alvin.
