Participants in Hunter’s Night Out May 18 at Bass Pro Shop had 130 happy hunters after 130 guns were matched with the ticket numbers drawn for the prizes at SH 288 and the Beltway in Pearland.

Hosted by the Manvel-Iowa Colony Lions Club, the annual 130 guns fundraiser included gun drawings, barbecue, an auction, and prize games.

Winners of prizes were not needed to be present to win and may choose alternate Bass Pro Shop merchandise in lieu of a gun.

Funds from this event will be used for charities and the building fund.

The Manvel-Iowa Colony Lions Club supports many projects including local schools, the Manvel-Iowa Colony Lions Club Ball Park, Texas Lions Camp for children with physical disabilities, type 1 diabetes and cancer, Lions Eye Bank of Texas, Lions Clubs International Foundation, Leader Dog for the Blind, and  Lions World Services for the Blind.
