Graduates of the Adult Education Center will have graduation ceremonies Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Pearland ISD Virgil Gant Education Support Center at 1928 N. Main St. in Pearland.

This event is the center’s annual graduation ceremony recognizing their adult learners and graduates for their hard work and achievements.

The Adult Education Center is located at 2246 N. Washington Avenue in Pearland.

Formerly known as the Adult Reading Center, the AEC has new CEO and President Ernest Lewis who kicked off their annual fund campaign in July.

At the AEC, adult education and literacy services are provided with support from the Gulf Coast Workforce Board to help individuals find a job, keep a job, or get a better job.

The Adult Education Center supports, and the Board is committed to, providing a learning and working environment that promotes personal integrity, civility, and mutual respect free of discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity and gender expression, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
