The 3rd Annual Turkey Trot is coming and the 2019 Sponsorship Packages are ready.
The popular returning holiday ritual is sponsored by the Forever Parks Foundation of Pearland, a volunteer based 501(c)(3) organization actively supporting Pearland Parks & Recreation by acquiring financial resources through events and charitable donations.
Held on Thanksgiving Day, the trot offers 6, 4 or one family mile races.
Turkey Trots have been part of the American Thanksgiving Day tradition dating back to 1896 with the founding of the Buffalo New York Thanksgiving Day Race.
Sponsors will appreciate the stats that show how being part of this program will not only benefit Parks and Recreation but their businesses as well.
In 2018, participants from 27 states were represented on race day with 1, 376 finishers. Out of those attending, 61 percent were female and 39 percent male.
Running USA has studied the data and it is confirmed Americans love to run races on Thanksgiving.
Sponsorships include presenting sponsor, gold, silver, and bronze sponsors, packet pick up sponsor, hydration sponsor, and in-kind food and beverage/goods sponsor.
