Five Manvel residents were appointed to the Zoning Board of Adjustment at the Manvel City Council meeting Monday night, October 7 at City Hall on SH 6.
Kim Bickham, George Collins, Valorie Early, Melody Hanson and Raf Lopez were each appointed to a two-year term.
Council also heard the first of two readings of Ordinance 2019 – O-30 to no longer require the continued existence of City right-of-way on an unimproved portion of Masters Road, an 80 foot right of way running north/south bordered by Lewis Lane to the North and the current FM 2238 to the south.
The first of two readings of Ordinance 2019 – O – 31 was also completed at the meeting. The ordinance concerns no longer requiring the continued existence of City right-of-way of an unimproved portion of Canaan, a 60-foot right-of-way generally located east of FM 1128.
Council also considered approving a subdivision variance request for 1.034 acres of land located at 7125 King Street for relief from Chapter 62.
