Notice is hereby given that on November 7, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of Pearland, Counties of Brazoria, Harris and Fort Bend, Texas, will conduct a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers at Pearland City Hall, 3519 Liberty Drive, Pearland, Texas, at the request of John P. and Sheila Greenwalt, applicant and owner; for a variance, as permitted by the Unified Development Code, Ordinance No. 2000-T, to allow a 6’ rear yard setback in lieu of the required 20’ rear yard setback to accommodate a 13’x14’ building addition within the rear yard (Section, to wit:

Pearland Independent School District will be accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) for the following:

RFP 20-1113-02 for Property and Casualty Insurance are due

Bids shall be submitted in triplicate and in sealed envelopes clearly marked with Bid No. 2019-05, and addressed to the City of Friendswood, Attn: Melinda Welsh, City Secretary, and will be received at Friendswood City Hall, 910 S. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX, 77546 before 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2019.

All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check upon a national or state bank in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount payable to the owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a surety company authorized to do business in Texas as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute bonds within fifteen (15) days after notice of award. The City of Friendswood reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. The City of Friendswood pays for goods and services according to the provisions of Chapter 2251 of the Government Code.

The project is to perform all the work and furnish all necessary superintendence, labor, machinery, equipment, tools and materials, and whatever else may be necessary to complete all the work described in or reasonably inferable from the Contract Documents for the construction of the FM 521 Ground Storage Tank Expansion – Phase 2 with all related appurtenances, complete, tested, and operational, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the City of Pearland City Hall Annex 3523 Liberty Drive, Pearland, Texas 77581 at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday October 17th, 2019.
