There is a new Pumpkin Patch in Friendswood and the community is invited to take free photos as well as purchase pumpkins if they want to do so.

The colorful patch is open every day through Halloween (October 31, 2019) from 10 am until dark at 206 E. Edgewood (FM 2351).

Pumpkins are priced from $1 and up. All proceeds will go to Builders Without Borders of Texas, a 501 (c) 3 organization. The organization works with Harvey Rebuild, Kenbe Fem Children’s Home, local food pantries, Houston Homeless Ministry and more).

On October 19, the patch will have its Annual Fall Fun Day with hot dogs, snow-cones, popcorn, bounce houses, face painting and crafts for kids. All the activities are free.

A pumpkin painting contest will be held there on October 26, 2019.

The Pumpkin Patch is created by Blue Monkey Resale Gift Shop.

The pumpkins being sold started life about 100 days ago on a farm on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Farmington, NM. Nearly 100 percent of the farm workforce is Native American.
