ORDINANCE NO. 1210-2019.1

An ordinance of the city council of the City of Pearland, Texas, amending Chapter 23, Plumbing and Gas, of the City of Pearland Code of Ordinances, as it may have been, from time to time, to amend Section 23-1.1, entitled Local Amendments; having a savings clause, a severability clause, and a repealer clause; and providing for codification and an effective date.

108.4  Violations.  Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate or fail to comply with the requirements or provisions of any section or subdivision of the plumbing code adopted by this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction by a court of competent jurisdiction, be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense, and each and every day that such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS

BID NO. 2019-06

2019-2020 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Bids shall be submitted in triplicate and in sealed envelopes clearly marked with Bid No. 2019-06, and addressed to the City of Friendswood, Attn: Melinda Welsh, City Secretary, and will be received at Friendswood City Hall, 910 S. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX, 77546 before 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check upon a national or state bank in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount payable to the owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a surety company authorized to do business in Texas as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute bonds within fifteen (15) days after notice of award.  The City of Friendswood reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received.  The City of Friendswood pays for goods and services according to the provisions of Chapter 2251 of the Government Code.
