Thursday, April 19 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. – “Mindfulness – What is it? And how can you benefit from it?” Mindfulness addresses many of our current and every day stress related problems. Dorte Koustrup teaches Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She studied to be a MBSR teacher at Aarhus University in Denmark and the University of Massachusetts. She has arranged lessons, workshops, and talks about mindfulness since 2015. This talk will include a few practical exercises and also tell you how mindfulness can influence the brain.
