Brazoria County is set to receive federal disaster funding from the severe storm and flooding that happened between May 4 and June 19, county officials announced.
Those who suffered losses may register for assistance at wwwdisasterassistance.gov or call 1-800-621-FEMA.

Those who were affected have until July 28 to register with FEMA. They must provide a social security number, current and pre-disaster addresses, phone number, insurance information, total household income, bank information and a description of losses.
A FEMA contract inspector will contact each applicant to set up an appointment to review his or her case.
