Southdown Plant Ground Storage Tank Replacement

The project will entail the removal of an existing 140,000-gallon bolted steel ground storage tank (GST) and replacing it with a new 400,000-gallon welded steel GST and associated yard piping, permanent removal of two existing hydro-pneumatic pressure tanks, installation of variable frequency drives (VFD) on three existing booster pumps, addition of a natural gas standby generator and various valves, fittings and related appurtenances.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the City of Pearland City Hall Annex-Houston Conference Room at 3523 Liberty Drive, Pearland, Texas 77581 at 10:30 a.m. on March 24, 2020.

All bids should be submitted through the E-Bid system located on the City’s website at: https://pearland.ionwave.net/Login.aspx. All interested Bidders are advised to register as a “supplier” on the City’s E-Bid System at the above website by clicking on “Supplier Registration” and completing a short registration questionnaire. Notice is hereby given that the Commissioners of the Brazoria Drainage District No. 4, Pearland, Texas, will hold a Public Hearing to consider adoption of the Master Drainage Plan Update as developed by HALFF and Associates Inc. on April 7, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at the office of the District, 4813 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.

Any member of the public has the right to appear at the hearing and present evidence for or against the plan. The Master Drainage Plan Update is available for review at the office of the District.

The Board of Commissioners will receive comments from the public; no action will be taken.

UNIFORM SERVICES

The Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District (the District) is seeking a provider of Uniform Services for their employees.

Located at 1605 Whitaker Dr. (off W. Parkwood/FM 528) in Friendswood Texas, the District has an employee base averaging between 10 (ten) to 14 (fourteen) in number.  The District employees provide drainage services to the community and as such are always visible to the public.  We require appropriate work shirts and pants that are maintained in good condition and provided to the designated location on a weekly basis.  Additional requirements are included within the Bid Sheet.

All bids must be received by April 2, 2020.

INVITATION TO BID

Forgotten Angels Foundation in Pearland, Texas is seeking a qualified, proven-effective, construction contractor to complete the construction/installation of a 4,000 square foot, pre-engineered, metal agricultural-style building on an applicably-sized concrete pad, with build-out, a fire lane, mechanical-electrical-plumbing, fire sprinkler system, domestic water, sanitary sewer, site electrical, and associated drainage. The resulting structure shall be located at 3301 Industrial Dr., Pearland, Texas, and is being funded in part with a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), via the City of Pearland’s Community Development Block Grant program.

All interested bidders should send a Notice of Intent to Bid to Lindsey Weatherford at lweatherford@forgottenangels.org by March 25, 2020. Plans and instructions with all specifications to bidders will be provided once a Notice of Intent has been received.
