Pearland City Council met online Saturday, August 8 for the first
Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) budget discussion. Staff presented proposed
expenditures and Council had the opportunity to ask questions and
provide feedback.
The first public hearing on FY21 will be August 31 at 6:30 pm. The
second public hearing will be Tuesday, September 8 at 6:30 pm.
First reading of the ordinances will be September 14 at 6:30 pm with
the second reading on September 28 at 6:30 pm.
All meetings may be conducted either online or in person at City Hall
in the Council Chambers. Interested community members should check the
meeting agenda to determine the location and format.
Fiscal Year 2021 Budget Development can be followed by going to
https://www.pearlandtx.gov. A page can be located that provides a
centralized location for all Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) budget related
materials, meeting dates and times, and links to live stream and
pre-recorded video assets.
FY21 spans from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.
