PROMOTIONAL ITEMS & APPAREL 

(INCLUDING SCREENPRINTING & EMBROIDERY)

The Friendswood Independent School District will be accepting Sealed Proposals (Texas Education Code 44.031) to supplement our existing contract for PROMOTIONAL ITEMS & APPAREL (INCLUDING SCREENPRINTING & EMBROIDERY). Vendors already approved under RFP 19-002 do not need to resubmit. Sealed proposals can be submitted online or to FISD’s Administration Building at 302 Laurel Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546. Proposals must be received on or before 3:00 p.m., September 2, 2020. Bid packets are available on FISD’s website www.myfisd.com/information-for-vendors or through the Public Purchase website www.publicpurchase.com. Please contact cblain@fisdk12.net with any questions. The Friendswood Independent School District reserves the right to postpone, to accept or to reject any and all proposals as it deems to be in its best interest and to waive formalities and reasonable irregularities.

NOTICE OF DESIGNATION OF OFFICE/MEETING

PLACES OUTSIDE THE DISTRICT

TO THE RESIDENTS AND TAXPAYERS OF 

BRAZORIA COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 18 AND 

ALL OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES:

TAKE  NOTICE that in accordance with Section 49.062 Texas Water Code, as amended, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 18 (the “District”) has on July 28, 2020, designated the following as locations for the District’s office/meeting places outside the boundaries of the District, which locations shall be used as a  meeting place for the Board for the transaction of such business as is not required to be done within the District: (1) Busy Bee Café, 4009 Broadway St., Pearland, Texas; (2) First United Methodist Church Pearland, 2314 N. Grant Blvd., Pearland, Texas; (3) the offices of Bacon & Wallace, L.L.P., 6363 Woodway, Suite 800, Houston, Texas 77057; and (4) the offices of the District’s Engineer, Huitt Zollars, Inc., 10350 Richmond Ave., Suite 300, Houston, Texas. Said locations are hereby declared to be public places, and the public is invited to attend any meeting of the Board held at such locations. The Board formally affirmed that it shall continue to maintain the following locations within the boundaries of the District as meeting places: (1) the City of Pearland Public Library, 3522 Liberty Drive, Pearland, Texas; (2) City of Pearland Recreation Center, 4141 Bailey Road, Pearland, Texas; and (3) Bella Vita Clubhouse Annex, 1548 N. Riviera Circle, Pearland, Texas.  Said locations are hereby declared to be public places, and the public is invited to attend any meeting of the Board held at such locations.

NOTICE TO PROPOSERS: 

Request for sub-contractor proposals for “Shari D. Coleman Animal Shelter & Adoption Center” and “Pearland Fire Station No. 4”

“Durotech, Inc., as Construction Manager at Risk on behalf of City of Pearland will receive sub-contractor/vendor proposals for the Shari D. Coleman Animal Shelter & Adoption Center project as designed by Quorum Architects and City of Pearland Fire Station No. 4 project as designed by Joiner Architects.

Proposals and qualification statements will be received by Durotech, Inc., from interested proposers, sub-proposers and suppliers until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, in the presence of the Owner and Architect at the offices of Durotech, Inc. at 11931 Wickchester Lane, #205, Houston, Texas 77043-4501, Phone: 281-558-6892 and Fax: 281-496-5637.  Construction Manager Contact: Matthew Mounzer (Shari D. Coleman Animal Shelter & Adoption Center) and Dillon Murski (City of Pearland Fire Station No. 4)

Drawings and Specifications will be available for review at the offices of Durotech, Inc., and at the plan rooms of AGC, Dodge Data & Analytics, Virtual Builders Exchange, Brazos Valley Contractors Association, Construction Data and CMD Group. Prevailing wage rates in conformance with Texas law will be paid on this project. All proposals shall remain valid for ninety (90) days.

A pre-bid conference will be held virtually at 2:00 p.m. on August 26, 2020.  Details regarding access to the pre-bid conference will be provided in a later addendum.

The Owner, Architect/Engineer and Construction Manager reserve the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal process, and to make the awards in the best interest of the school district.  By submitting a proposal, each proposer agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect/Engineer, Construction Manager and their respective employees arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any proposal; waiver of any requirements under the Proposal Documents, or the Contract Documents; acceptance or rejection of any proposals; and award of a Contract.”
