Golfers get ready for tee time at Ready, Set Golf, the inaugural VIP golf event by the Pearland Chamber of Commerce set for Thursday, September 24, 2020.

The event will have a shotgun start at noon at Golfcrest Country Club at 2509 Country Club Dr. in Pearland.

The Chamber gives members three good reasons to participate: Participation in the VIP Golf Classic is a great opportunity to connect with decision makers of local businesses and industry professionals while having a lot of fun.

The Chamber continues their commitment to create and support programs that promote a positive business climate in the community.

Thirdly, people do business with people they know, so why not come out and meet them on the golf course?

Levels of Participation include the following sponsorships: Box Lunch, After Golf Social, Beverage Cart, Putting Green or Driving Range, Golf Team of 4 players, Tent on Course and individual player.

For those contributing to swag bags, 150 items are needed.

Participants so far include Base Pair Biotechnologies, CenterPoint Energy, Cobb, Fendley & Associates; Frost Bank, HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, Kemlon, Killum Pest Control, Koza’s, Memorial Hermann, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Inc, Mott McDonald,  Pearland Economic Development Corporation, Third Coast Terminals and West Texas Cooling Tower.
