There is a new resident in Stevenson Park but this little creature needs a name.
Submit a name for this cute caterpillar in the comments on the City of Friendswood’s Facebook page and have a chance to win $25.
The contest is sponsored by Wanda Murphy.
The naming contest is open to children 12 and under and the lucky winner will be announced at the Concert in the Park June 24.
The caterpillar has been painted by Elisa Williams and donated to the park by the Friends of Stevenson Park.
The cute little caterpillar will be used for educational purposes and contest throughout the summer.
