Sponsorships for Wranglerettes open

Date:

Support is being sought from the Friendswood community by the Friendswood High School Wranglerettes. The competitive dance group has been awarded National Champion titles 21 times (1995, 1997, 2000-2005, 2007-2020).

Established in 1972, the group has a long history of fielding competitive teams who enjoy success nationally as well as developing talented dancers locally. The group works to instill discipline, teamwork, responsibility and leadership in its members.

Wranglerette Booster Club President Michelle Klump and Director Alyssa Goza report that the state continues to cut funding for extracurricular programs and the Wranglerettes have become dependent on support form the individuals and businesses in the community to help defray rising costs to the team for training, choreography, equipment and travel to both state and national competitions.

The Booster Club (WBC) is a volunteer board of directors and dedicated volunteers with a mission to provide financial assistance to the team through fundraising projects. To continue their efforts, the WBC is asking for local support.

Sponsorship packages have been put together to provide tax deductible donations and recognition for the donors. All donations by August 15 will have names included on the Wranglerette banner for the new school year.

Diamond Patron is $2000 or above, Platinum Patrons $1000- $1999; Gold Patrons $500-$999; Silver Patrons $250-$499; and Bronze Patrons $100-$249. Be a WGal Pal for $25-$99.

Make checks payable to Wranglerette Booster Club (WBC) or pay by VENMO @WBCTreasurer. Mail donations to WBC, Attn: Sponsorships, PO Box 2283, Friendswood TX 77549.
