The Texas Sports Writers Association released their 2022 Blue Bell All-State teams and Pearland Hailey Golden and Kennedy Drafton were honored this year.
Pearland outfielder Hailey Golden was named to the 6A All-State first-team after an outstanding season her junior year. The Texas A&M commit hit .636 BA with 7 doubles, 2 triples, one HR, 24 RBIs, 38 stolen bases, 60 runs.
Pearland second baseman Kennedy Drafton was named 6A All-State honorable mention as a junior after she hit .548 BA with 5 doubles, 2 triples, 3 HRs, 37 RBIs, 15 stolen bases, 31 runs.
