The Pearland Taste of the Town event will be held on November 9 from 5 to 7 pm, at the Knights of Columbus Hall. This inaugural event will recognize and promote local eateries and food joints.
Booths are set up, samples are handed out, and connections are made with this showcase event.
The Pearland Chamber of Commerce members are also welcoming surrounding area restaurants, coffee shops, and food trucks.
Participating restaurants so far include Bakfish Brewery, Casa Ole’, Center Court Pizza, Central Texas Bar Be Que, Chicken Salad Chick, Dream Dinners Pearland, Emma’s Mexican Grill, Floyds Cajun Seafood & Texas Steakhouse, Grace Pizza & Shakes Pearland, Grazia Italian Kitchen, H-E-B Plus!, Hometown Sports Bar, Iguanas Ranas Cantina, Jason’s Deli, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Jersey Mike’s Subs, TasteMs. Norma’s Café, My Sweet Obsession, Pei Wei – Pearland Town Center, Power Fit Meals, Rollie’s Frozen Custard, Saltgrass Steakhouse – Pearland, Scooter’s Coffee, Smallcakes Pearland Parkway, Texas Roadhouse Pearland, The Box Bakery and Kitchen, The LaRoux Table, Tropical Smoothie Café and Whataburger – Shadow Creek Ranch.
Booths for Chamber members are free with nonmember booths being $100. Premium booths are $300.
To participate in the event as an eatery, participants must have a food service license and a physical location and/or a food truck. Exceptions can be made for businesses under contract to open within 90 days of the event.
The Chamber will provide a 10×10 booth space, 1 table, 2 chairs, electric power upon request and booth attendant wristbands.
The participant must provide food samples for approximately 500 with one bite samples recommended, extension cords, serving utensils, and promotional materials. Alcohol can be served but is not required. If served, alcohol must be served in 4 oz. cups or smaller with TABC certification required if handling alcohol.
No food, beverages or alcohol may be sold by participants.
Parking is limited with designated parking for participants.
Tickets to attend are $15 general admission for all 2 years and older. VIP tickets are $30 and those with VIP tickets will be able to attend early at 4 pm.

Knights of Columbus Hall is located at 2320 Hatfield Rd. in Pearland.
