Join the PISD Education Foundation’s 2023 Evening for Education Gala

Date:

The Pearland ISD Education Foundation’s biggest fundraising initiative is returning once again with a new theme, new goal, a new secret location, with the same goal in mind: to continue funding innovative projects and classroom needs for students and teachers in Pearland ISD.

The sixth annual Evening for Education Gala and Giving Campaign, presented by Bayway Lincoln and Chevrolet, is set to take place on April 1, 2023.

Guests are encouraged to don their finest Texas Black-Tie attire in celebration of this year’s theme entitled “Waltz Across Texas,” a perfect blend of western elegance and Texas charm. The gala, known to local community members as the “Prom of Pearland” will feature live music presented by The Line Up, along with a catered dinner, dancing, a live auction, and many surprises. Individual tickets can be purchased for $150.

Following the success of the organization’s 2022 Gala en Blanc event, which set a new fundraising record of over $169,000, the foundation is looking to move the goal post even further with a new fundraising goal of $200,000.

There are multiple ways to help the foundation meet its fundraising goal. Community members, businesses and organizations can become a giving partner or event sponsor. Annual giving partners receive year-long acknowledgement for their tax-deductible contribution, along with a complimentary table. Sponsors will receive complimentary tickets and recognition at the event.

The foundation has hosted a fundraising gala almost annually since 2016. Since then:

  • The annual giving campaign and gala fundraiser has raised close to $760,000.
  • The foundation has funded 300+ classroom projects with over half a million dollars.
