NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS REGARDING A REQUEST FOR A ZONE CLASSIFICATION CHANGE FROM UNDERLYING ZONING FROM PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD; ORD 97-22); TO OFFICE PARK DISTRICT (OPD), KEEPING THE SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (SUP; ORD. 98-5) THAT ALLOWED THE USE OF PRINT SHOP

NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Friendswood will each hold a public hearing to give all interested parties the right to appear and express their views on the following item:

A request for a zone classification change located at 209 E Edgewood Drive, .2983 acre out of Lot 2, in Block 1, of Final Replat of Melody Plaza, Section Two (2), a subdivision in Galveston County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 18, Page 1136, in the Office of the County Clerk of Galveston County, Texas, to change the underlying zoning from Planned Unit Development (PUD; Ord. 97-22) to Office Park District (OPD), keeping the Specific Use Permit (SUP; Ord. 98-5) that allowed the use of print shop.

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold its public hearing on Thursday, August 10, 2023, in the Council Chamber, located in City Hall, 910 South Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas, 77546-4856, at its meeting commencing at 6:00 P.M.

The City Council will hold its public hearing on Monday, September 11, 2023, in the Council Chamber, located in City Hall, 910 South Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas, 77546-4856, at its meeting commencing at 5:30 P.M.
