Somersetshire water line contract OKed

New and larger water lines will be soon installed in Pearland’s Somersetshire Estate Subdivision.

City Council on Sept. 11 approved a $657,000 contract to install larger, 6-inch water lines to replace older and undersized lines, city officials said, which enhances fire safety.
