Pearland Art on the Pavilion Returns

Date:

Pearland’s annual arts and culture event, Pearland Art on the Pavilion, returns for its ninth year under the Pearland Town Center Pavilion on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15 for a full weekend of unique finds, talented artists, and live entertainment.New experiences this year include a wine bistro operated by San Ducerro Vineyards out of Yoakum, the Coral Bells Coffee truck, which revved up business in Pearland this past year, and a young artists’ exhibit hosted by Art Camp 2.0 and Coffee Bar.

Kids and teens can still register for the final free Art Camp workshop on October 7 by signing up at VisitPearland.com/ArtShow. Tabletop pear sculptures and painting supplies are provided, and the finished products will be displayed at Pearland Art on the Pavilion.

“We’re excited to include new additions to the event this year, including both local and regional artisans that we’re welcoming as first-timers,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, executive director of the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB). “Between the number of accomplished returning artists and the enthusiastic newcomers, the talent is phenomenal. It’s going to be a great event.”

The PCVB organizes and executes Pearland Art on the Pavilion every October when the Texas heat begins to dip. The event is free to attend and highlights handmade artwork including paintings, pottery, jewelry, woodwork, and much more.

In addition to shopping for one-of-a-kind gifts and décor, the event will also feature live music from Houston-area performers including Joe Calderon, Pam Grisham, Tucker Hart, Anthony Puskas, Patty O’Beers, and Wendy Elizabeth Jones.

Grab a selfie with a unique art car from the Houston Art Car Klub, order up something delicious from a local food truck, and shop till you drop at Pearland Art on the Pavilion 2023.

Updates to the Pearland Art on the Pavilion schedule will be posted to the event’s landing page and to the PCVB’s official Facebook. Visitors looking to stay for the entirety of the event can find comfortable, affordable hotel rooms at VisitPearland.com/Stay.
