Local on license revocation list

Date:

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has permanently revoked the license of a Pearland massage parlor investigated for inappropriate conduct.

The department, which oversees a broad range of occupations, equipment and facilities in Texas, this week released a statewide list of its recent permanent injunctions, cease and desist orders and license revocations. That list included only one Brazoria County location, a Pearland massage business.

Yuping Li on Sept. 7 received a lifelong revocation and is barred from future employment in the massage industry for allowing an employee to engage in inappropriate contact at the business, employing an unlicensed person and allowing an employee to reside on the property, according to TDLR.

For a complete list or to report unlicensed activities, visit tdlr.texas.gov or call 1-800-803-9202. Currently, the agency regulates 38 business and occupational licensing programs with almost 1,000,000 licensees across the state.
