Theft

Oct. 30 (9:57 a.m.) The theft of rebar was reported in the 1600 block of Friendswood Lakes Blvd.

Oct. 31 (5:54 p.m.) A 77-year-old Friendswood woman exited Kroger at 151 N. Friendswood Drive and left her purse in the shopping cart in the parking lot. She returned to the parking lot and the purse was gone. Later, a purchase was made using the victim’s credit card at the same Kroger location.

Oct. 31 (9:12 p.m.) A brown 2012 Volkswagon Jetta, 4-door, was stolen from the garage of an apartment at the Reserve at Autumn Creek. The vehicle was recovered in Webster.

Fraud

Oct. 30 (8:32 a.m.) Kroger at 151 N. Friendswood Drive had a counterfeit $100 bill passed a one of their registers.

Oct. 31 (8:43 a.m.) A Friendswood man reported that his ex-wife opened a line of credit using his personal identifying information.

Criminal Mischief

Nov. 2 (8:57 a.m.) A Ford F250 truck was damaged by unknown persons in the 2200 block of Pleasant Hill Drive. The victim found key scratches on both sides of the vehicle.

Nov. 2 (12:36 p.m.) A window was broken at a home in the 1800 block of Parkview Drive. It appeared that someone attempted to gain entry into the home.

Threats

Nov. 2 (6:39 p.m.) A warrant is pending for the arrest of Broderick Jerome Sasser for Violation of a Protective Order/Bond Conditions and Terroristic Threats of a Family Member.

Arrests

A male suspect, 30, of Friendswood, was charged with Assault.

A male suspect, 20, of Friendswood, was charged with Running a Stop Sign, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of an E-Cigarette by a Minor.

A male suspect, 35, of Friendswood, was charged with Assault.

A male suspect, 45, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A male suspect, 37, of Pearland, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated-2nd offense.

A female suspect, 38, of Friendswood, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

A male suspect, 36, of Cypress, was charged with Failure to Identify – Fugitive and Possession of a False ID/Driver’s License.

A male suspect, 44, of Friendswood, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated – 2nd offense and Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2.

A male suspect, 43, of Friendswood, was charged with Criminal Trespass.

A male suspect, 20, of Pearland, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A female suspect, 24, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A male suspect, 39, of Friendswood, was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Family Member.
