Friends of Downtown Friendswood Scarecrow Contest

Date:

The Friends of Downtown Friendswood Annual Scarecrow Contest concluded on November 4, with two clear winners.

The first-place award went to the Girl Scout’s Brownie Troop 143163. Their Brownie Scarecrow had the most votes of all the entries, and the Brownies that participated received a patch for their efforts.

The runner-up winner was a downtown Friendswood business, Stanfield Properties, led by the owners Alan and Beth Stanfield. Their team of scarecrow makers/realtors created a Scarecrow Barbie Dream House for everyone to stop by and take pictures with the Dreamhouse.

Everyone who participated with a scarecrow in The Friends of Downtown Friendswood’s event is much appreciated. This year’s contest had 16 scarecrow entries from 12 local businesses and four local non-profits participating.

The winners received Love Friendswood Gift Cards.
