Lady Mustangs fall to Kingwood, ending win streak

The Friendswood Lady Mustangs faced off against the Kingwood Park Panthers last week. Unfortunately for Friendswood, this game marked the end of their three-game winning streak, as they were defeated with a close score of 50-44. This loss brought Friendswood’s overall record to 5-9.

Standout performances led the victory for Kingwood Park from Asia Martin, who scored 17 points, and Aniah Cross, who contributed 21 points to the win. This win improved Kingwood Park’s record to 5-5, marking their third consecutive victory on the road.

Looking ahead, Friendswood is set to play their next in-district game at home on December 12 against LaPorte. The tip-off will be at 7 pm.
