The Friendswood High Mustang Boys Swim Team finished in First Place, and the Girls Swim Team finished in Second Place at the Mustang Holiday Splash held on December 16, 2023. FHS competed against 5 area schools.
Congratulations to Marshall Odom, who broke two Friendswood High School Pool Records and one Team Record. He broke the 50-yard freestyle pool record with a 20.54 held by G. Engle since 2018 (previously 20.62) and his own 100-yard butterfly pool record set earlier this year with a 48.73. Marshall also broke his own 50-yard freestyle team record set earlier this year (previously 20.60).
Congratulations to Kk LeBlanc, who broke the 500-yard freestyle pool record with a 4:55.51 held by L. Chaney since 2021 (previously 4:55.91).
She also broke her own 500-yard freestyle team record for the third time – freshman year (5:08.30), sophomore year (5:07.38), and now junior year (4:55.51).
