Knapp Center to hold walking challenge

Melvin Knapp Center, 2424 South Park Ave., is holding a January walking challenge for seniors from Jan. 1 through Jan. 31.

Those who attend walking club seven at least seven times during the month will be entered into a drawing for gift cards to local businesses. Those who attend 14 days will be entered twice, and daily attendees will receive four entries.

The walking club meets at 7:45 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Pearland Recreation Center, 4141 Bailey Road. The drawing will take place Feb. 7.
