Date:

In a remarkable display of community support, a GoFundMe campaign dedicated to the family of 18-year-old Ethan Riley has successfully achieved its $45,000 goal. The fundraiser was established in the wake of Ethan’s untimely death on December 24th, following an unprovoked attack the night before.

The funds raised will be allocated for funeral expenses and the establishment of a scholarship in Ethan’s honor, aimed at perpetuating his memory through educational support.

Further details regarding Ethan’s memorial services have been announced. Friends and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects during a visitation scheduled for Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, located at 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546.

The funeral service is set to take place the following day, Thursday, January 4th, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church, 1804 S. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas. The service will be officiated by Rev. Jonathan Petering, and the burial will be conducted privately.

This overwhelming response from the community and the forthcoming services not only aims to provide solace and closure to Ethan’s family and friends but also ensure that his spirit endures through the scholarship fund, offering future students educational opportunities in his name.

The collective effort marks a poignant testament to the community’s solidarity in the face of tragedy.
