Sometimes described as the Prom of Pearland, the Pearland ISD Education Foundation’s annual gala and fundraiser is set for April 6 this year with the theme, “A Night in Casablanca.”

Kicking off at 6 p.m. that evening, the gala will be held at the Pelazzio Reception Venue, 12121 Westheimer Road, Suite 127, Houston. The black-tie event will include dinner and live entertainment, plus an auction with items donated by local businesses and individuals.

The gala is the primary fundraiser for the nonprofit Education Foundation, which awarded $99,000 in innovative teaching grants and nearly $10,000 in mini-grant funding to support classroom projects in 2023.

Two tickets are $300, and a table of 10 is $2,000. Sponsorships include the $2,500 Bronze level up to $10,000 Platinum. This year’s presenting sponsor is Bayway Chevrolet.
