Leadership class meets county leaders

Date:

Leadership, Pearland’s 16th class, is making the rounds in Brazoria County, learning about everything from wastewater to tourism.

“They go everywhere from the county jail to have the pleasure of being at commissioners court,” Pearland Chamber of Commerce President Jim Johnson told county commissioners during their March 28 meeting.
Designed to identify and develop local leaders, the class has 11 enrollees who will graduate later this year.

They include Daren Peterson of HCA Pearland Hospital; Jordan Kolhoff of Farmers Insurance Craig Slater Agency; Jennifer Berti of the Pearland Chamber; Sunjay Bali of Alvin Community College; Samantha Lancaster of Crain Group LLC; Kira Beal of San Jacinto College; Tara Dandridge of Memorial Hermann Pearland; Devina Fernandez of Endress+ Hauser; Ross Steffenauer of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries; Leslie Barcelona of the Pearland ISD Education Foundation; and Martin Griggs of the City of Pearland staff.
