McCarthy Building Company, the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Barry Rose Wastewater Reclamation Facility (WRF) expansion and Longwood WRF Decommissioning Project, is seeking interested suppliers, contractors and subcontractors to perform specified scopes of work on the construction of a greenfield 5.0 MGD average daily flow (ADF) project for the CITY OF PEARLAND.  The project consists of a wastewater treatment plant at the Barry Rose site with biosolids handling, an operations/lab building, site civil improvements, utility establishment, plant-wide power distribution, controls system, security system, and decommissioning of the existing Barry Rose WRF located at 1902 ½ Barry Rose Rd., Pearland, TX 77581. The project will also include improvements to the Longwood Site consisting of construction of a new diversion lift station with firm pumping capacity of 8.0 MGD and decommissioning of the existing Longwood WRF, located at 2727 Dixie Farm Road, Pearland, TX 77581. A 20-inch diameter force-main will connect the two sites.

McCarthy is inviting interested contractors and sub-contractors to attend a short presentation sharing an overview and future bidding opportunities for this project. A non-mandatory public outreach meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 17th
