Crawfish fundraiser happens Sunday

Date:

The 14th annual Pearland Neighborhood Center Crawfish Festival fundraiser is on Sunday, May 19. Two levels of tickets are available to accommodate non-crawfish eaters.

The event is from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the KC Hall, 2320 Hatfield Road.

Children under 12 are admitted free, and an adult general admission wristband good for hot dogs, chili pies, desserts, and drinks, including beer, is $40 in advance or $35 at the door.
Tickets for the all-you-can-eat shrimp, crawfish, and more are $70 at the door. The price also includes hot dogs, Frito pies, and fried Oreo dessert.

In addition to children’s activities such as bounce houses and a petting zoo, a silent and live auction will take place along with raffles, a cornhole tournament at 1 p.m., and more.

Proceeds benefit the Pearland Neighborhood Center, which provides utility and rental assistance, food and baby pantry, Sant’s Helpers, school supply vouchers, financial stability courses, GED scholarships, and more for area residents in need.
