Don Bertram has been named to the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau Advisory Board by the Pearland City Council.
Bertram, who has a background in the arts, will replace Renee van Nifterik, who resigned from the board in January.
City boards and commissions are made up of residents who volunteer their time and knowledge. They are interviewed, recommended by a special committee, and appointed by the city council.
