‘Native Son’ enters final weekend

The play “Native Son” is entering its final weekend at the Pearl Theatre, 14803 Park Almeda Drive. The final performance is at 3 p.m. this Sunday. Evening performances this week are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Directed by Errol Anthony Wilks, the play follows an estranged biracial couple whose son is detained by police following a traffic stop.

The box office opens an hour before showtime for ticket purchase and pickup. Tickets are $18 for seniors and students and $20 for adults.
