University of Houston Clear Lake-Pearland will present the “Reading Around the Bases” community event, which is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday at 1200 Pearland Parkway.
The event is free and includes storytime, treats, and free books for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Sponsors include the University of Houston Clear Lake, Astros Foundation, and UHCL Alumni Association.
