Theft

July 29 (4:08 p.m.) Management at the T-Mobile store, located at 210 E. Parkwood Avenue, reported an employee theft. The manager provided video evidence of the theft of a cell phone from a supply room.

Aug. 1 (11:04 a.m.) A copper wire theft was reported in the 1600 block of Birch Lake Bend at a home under construction in the Avalon subdivision. The theft occurred sometime between the close of business on July 26th and August 1st.

Criminal Mischief

July 30 (11:52 a.m.) During the overnight hours of July 2nd and 3rd, the mailboxes at the Ashford Village Townhomes, 1408 S. Friendswood Drive, were vandalized.

Aug. 2 (5:37 p.m.) A vehicle window was broken at Bay Meadows Apartments. A suspect was named.

Fraud

July 30 (11:16 a.m.) A Friendswood woman was the victim of a scam through the social media apps X and Whats App.

July 31 (12:35 p.m.) A Friendswood man’s computer was hacked. He was convinced to install a program on his computer that allowed remote access to the hacker who compromised his bank accounts.

Aug. 1 A Friendswood woman’s identity was stolen and used to create a Verizon Wireless account. Once the account was opened, charges were made to purchase several iPads and iPhones.

Found Property

July 29 (3:07 p.m.) A cell phone, found in the 3900 block of Laura Leigh Drive, was turned into the police property room.

Arrests

A female suspect, 52, of Friendswood, was charged with Driving While License Invalid, No Insurance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A male suspect, 19, of Friendswood, was charged with No Driver’s License.

A male suspect, 43, of Webster, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

A male suspect, 32, of Texas City, was charged with Assault.

A male suspect, 51, of Houston, was charged with No Driver’s License.
A male suspect, 38, of Dickinson, was charged with Driving While License Invalid and No Insurance.

A male suspect, 35, of Houston, was charged with No Driver’s License and No Insurance.

A male suspect, 39, of Galveston, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 and Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information.

A male suspect, 29, of Galveston, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.

A male suspect, 19, of Alvin, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A male suspect, 23, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A male suspect, 43, of Houston, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.

A male suspect, 42, of Houston, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

A male suspect, 29, of Houston, was charged with Possession of marijuana.
