This Friday, a fundraising gala for the Alvin ISD Education Foundation, “Fueling Dreams, Igniting Futures,” is at South Shore Harbour Resort, 2500 South Shore Blvd. in League City.
Proceeds benefit student and teacher scholarships, grants, and other special projects.
Doors open at 6:30 a.m. with a cocktail reception, a 7:30 p.m. dinner, and entertainment that includes dueling pianos.
